How to Research World Religions at Moye Library

You can use the links in this guide to find specific resources intended to help you with your research. For example, you can use the "Reference Materials" section to find specific reference sources from CREDO Reference and other library databases. You can use the "Articles" section to find links to specific databases that you can use to make your search more specific and you can use the "Books, eBooks, and Multimedia"  section to find recommended books on your research topic.

Reference Materials

Use the resources here to get an overview of your topic, find general information on world religions and religious practices, and find information that will help you narrow your topic. 

Articles

Use the general advanced search on the library homepage and the databases listed on this page to search for articles on specific topics. The information that you find in articles will be more specific than the information your find in reference sources or books. 

Books, eBooks, and Multimedia

Use the books listed here or a basic book search on the library website to find books on a world religion or religious festival/holiday/observance. Books about a religion will generally include some information on religious holidays and observances. 

Websites 

Use this page to find specific sites containing reliable information on diverse religions and religious practices. 

Tutorials

Go here for tutorials on how to do research and how to search strategically.
